Pimpawadee Komolthiti is a senior associate in the Foreign Direct Investment Practice Group at Weerawong, C&P. with over 14 years of experience advising multinational corporations on a wide range of legal and business matters relating to foreign direct investment and general corporate affairs in Thailand. Her practice focuses on structuring market entry strategies, establishing legal entities, obtaining regulatory approvals and licenses, and ensuring ongoing compliance with Thai laws and regulations.
She has substantial expertise in corporate governance, commercial transactions, cross-border investments, and regulatory compliance. She regularly advises clients on securing investment privileges under the Board of Investment (BOI), obtaining Foreign Business Licenses (FBL), and Foreign Business Certificates under the U.S.-Thailand Treaty of Amity. Represented Beijing Haoyang Cloud Data Technology Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese hyperscale data center provider, on its strategic investment in Haoyang Data Center 1 (Thailand) Limited. This landmark project involves the development of a 300-megawatt hyperscale facility in Rayong Province, backed by a total investment exceeding USD 2.2 billion (THB 72.67 billion). Weerawong C&P acted as lead counsel on all Thai legal matters, including corporate structuring, securing BOI promotion, and managing regulatory approvals.
