Kavee Lohdumrongrat is a senior associate in the dispute
resolution practice group. He represents clients in civil and criminal litigation, as well as
domestic and international arbitration. Kavee has expertise in a wide range of matters, including
corporate-commercial, insurance, labour and employment, international trade, real estate, torts,
wills and estates and restructuring and insolvency. Recent Experience Representation of a major Thai insurance company and its shareholders in a USD 9
million shareholder dispute against potential foreign investors conducted under the SIAC Arbitration
Rules. The dispute was settled before trial. June 2020 Representation of
Goldenland Property Development in civil litigation. Representation of the Legal Execution Department of Thailand in the
restructuring and insolvency of Saha Farms. Representation of
AIA in the defense of multiple cases related to a popular TMAE life insurance
policy held by tens of thousands of customers. These cases set precedents for consumer protection as
well as the insurance law and industry in Thailand. Representation of
Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited, Thailand’s 2nd largest bank by assets and
the major creditor in the restructuring and rehabilitation under the Central Bankruptcy Court of
Saha Farms and its affiliate Golden Line Business Company Limited (a separate case). This was the
largest debt restructuring process filed with the Bankruptcy Court in 2014. Representation of Cyklop Group (Germany), one of
the world's largest packaging companies, in several white collar crime cases and a civil case
arising as a result of serious disputes between the Cyklop Group's management and the solely
authorized director of its subsidiary in Thailand. Representation of
Mr. Tony Jaa, the well-known Thai martial arts actor, in defending and filing
counterclaims in a dispute with SAHAMONGKOL (film maker) regarding his long-term contract with
SAHAMONGKOL and the release of Fast and Furious 7. Representation of
Ananda Development Co., Ltd. in the pre-litigation and litigation process in
connection with a dispute between the client and its customers. Representation
of Mitsubishi Motors in the contractual dispute between Mitsubishi Motors
(Thailand) and Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) for breach of contract. Representation of DCM Solutions Limited in connection with the
