Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners Ltd. represented PLAN B Media Public Company Limited, Thailand’s leading out-of-home advertising media provider, in relation to the proposed acquisition of 100% shares in (i) Aqua Ad Public Company Limited (which holds the entire shares in M.I.S. Media Company Limited); and (ii) Boardway Media Company Limited (which holds the entire shares in S.Thana Media Company Limited), which engage in out-of-home media businesses, from Aqua Corporation Public Company Limited. Weerawong C&P also advised and assisted in the filling re the merger control matters in relation to the proposed acquisition. The deal was signed in February 2022, completed in April 2022 and was valued at approximately THB 2,882 billion (USD 83 million). 

 

PLAN B Media Public Company Limited also issued 84,000,000 new ordinary shares allocated to Aqua Corporation Public Company Limited on a private placement basis. The deal was signed in April 2022,  completed in May 2022 and was valued at approximately THB 606 million (USD 17 million).
