Weerawong C&P represented Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld in the THB 8 billion (approximately USD 254 million) financing from Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited for the acquisition of shares in Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (“AAV”, a major shareholder of Thai AirAsia Co., Ltd.) from the Srivaddhanaprabha family and the related mandatory tender offer for the purchase of the remaining shares in AAV.

The Weerawong C&P team was led by Nattaporn Pengkul, Partner and Pimkwan Subprasert, Associate. The deal closed in December 2017.
