Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners Ltd. represented Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, an underwriter, in the offering of trust units of Strategic Hospitality Extendable Freehold and Leasehold Real Estate Investment Trust (SHREIT) and an allocation of the trust units to both domestic and international investors. SHREIT is the first Thai REIT to invest in foreign real estate, such as hotels in Vietnam and Indonesia. The deal valued at THB 3.5 billion (approximately USD 107.75 million) closed on 20 December 2017.
